I live to be inspired...it's who I am. And fortunately, I am easily inspired by the people and things I see around me every day. When I discovered, long ago, that I love to capture those inspired moments on film, a life's work was born.

I used to be a city girl. My busy life and career called me to Minneapolis; Portland, Oregon; San Francisco; and finally Los Angeles, where I worked in the entertainment industry, photographing for magazines such as People, In Style, Us Weekly, and Vanity Fair. My fine art and travel work has appeared in galleries on the west coast, and my love of portraiture has led to shooting work for various artists, authors and musicians. All along the way I've continued to shoot weddings, which add a wonderful dimension of storytelling to my work.

I knew I could never leave the city completely, and as I followed the flow of life I found my way to the country just outside Williamsburg, VA; where I now spend half my time, on a wide river, surrounded by an ever-growing brood of animals. The other half is spent in and around New York and Connecticut, where the quick pulse of the East keeps me energized.

There is never a dull moment in this human experience. Inspiration is always right there, if we're willing to look. And there's always a camera in my hands, ready to capture that beauty, that interaction, that connection, that inner light in everything that makes this life so sweet.
